I feel like life is all about little meltdowns and How you react to those meltdowns can make all the difference. I myself have tiny meltdowns throughout the day and have to remind myself to breathe or count.

Sometimes my meltdown comes from being tired from the night before because I stayed up all night grasping for me time. other times my meltdown comes from screaming toddlers who have no rational bone in their body.

So these are a few of my favorite things that bring me little joys: Fixes for Mommy Meltdowns

How to Get baby sleeping

I hear so many parents complain about their child's sleep habits. it's a real struggle for a lot of parents and not just that first year either. with my first child we did all the songs, dances, rocking, reading... you name it, we did it. We changed it up with our second child and wow the difference!

The biggest differences were:

  1. Using a sound machine.... This is by far one of the most important things for baby to sleep through the night. this one has been incredible because I can control it from my phone Hatch Sound Machine. I have one for each one of my kids rooms (7, 2 and 9 months) and they still use them.

  2. Swaddle..... Swaddling always looked so uncomfortable to me, but babies really do sleep better. My favorites are The Nested Bean . These were a game changer. I suggest using the ones that swaddle their arms in from 0-4/5 months and then switching over to the ones that are 6-15 months.

  3. Black out curtains.... The darker the room, the better the sleep. These have a great review on amazon Black out curtains .

Combine all these things with a very strict bedtime (consistency is key in the beginning) and you will see results.
